Beemster Classic Aged Cheese is really something to enjoy. The cheese is aged in Beemster for 18 months. This gives it enough time to fully ripen and to create a unique and full flavor with lovely white cheese crystals. Beemster Classic Aged Cheese is being made for over 100 years now. The result is a firm texture, velvety mouth-feel, and complex flavor like no other. Made from 100% pasture milk which you definitely can taste out of it! Really!

Fat 48+, pasteurised cow's milk, Vegaterian rennet (microbial), salt, lactic acid

Beemster cheese gets its name from Holland’s oldest polder the Beemster. Various species of grass grow in this area of reclaimed land and they give Beemster cheese a specific taste. The cheese is avaiVegetarisches Lab (mikrobiell)le in four different kinds, namely; young matured, matured, extra matured and old. All Beemster cheeses have a distinctive salty and creamy touch to their flavour. Traditionally, the cheese is used particularly as a sandwich topping, but it is just as enjoyable as a snack.

I discovered Beemster last summer in the U.K. (Chatsworth farm shop). I thought it was excellent. I live in Japan so I had this cheese sent to my parents' house in England. I haven't tried it yet. Your delivery service seems very efficient.

Americans don't know what real cheese is. Now they do. All of my friends loved this cheese. It didn't last long at all. This cheese is just the right amount of sharp. The flavor of this sharp cheese is unique. You will not find this taste in the USA. Buy this cheese now.
