Maaslander jong 50+ is a young, full fat cheese made of milk from Dutch cows that graze outside for the biggest time of the year. The full and creamy flavor comes from the fact that they only use non-skimmed milk to produce it, which is also why it melts very easily. It’s ripened and pickled relatively short, which gives it its mild, less salty taste. You’ll keep on eating it!
Fat 50+, pasteurized cow's milk, rennet, salt, starter culture, vitamins A, B and D
Use this cheese in a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, of cover a sweet potato with it and melt it in the oven. Or how about topping it on international dishes, like taco’s, lasagna or other oven dishes?
This young Maaslander cheese is full fat, which makes it the perfect choice for those who like cheese with a full, yet creamy taste. Do you prefer a more mature variety which a richer taste? Then you’ll like the Maaslander 50+ mild mature version, or even the Maaslander 50+ aged cheese.
