In our shop does not matter whether you ordered 2 kilos or 50 kilos. We use a fix price for shipping.

Shippingcosts within the EU

When are Orders Shipped?

We automatically receive notice as soon as you have completed your order and payment on our website. We reserve 1 to 3 working days to process your order. In the unlikely event that an article is out of stock, delivery time will be expanded by 5 additional working days at most. In the event that an article cannot be shipped within 8 working days, you will receive immediate notice.

The summary below provides an indication of shipping durations in working days for a number of frequently submitted destinations. Shipping times are indications – not warranties. Parcels may be delayed unexpectedly in the Post. We have no influence over this. 

DURATION SHIPPING WITHIN THE EU
Within the EU, parcels are delivered by Postnl. Subsequently, it will take Postnl and DPD 2 – 5 working days to deliver the parcel.

DURATION DPD AND Postnl SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE EU 
Parcels are delivered worldwide by DPD and Postnl. Subsequently, it will take DPD 2 – 3 working days and Postnl 5 - 12 working days to deliver the parcel.

Important
We ask our customers for a telephone number for us to state on the parcels, which ensures that the shipment can be delivered if the delivery person is unable to find the address; such parcels are also delivered faster than parcels with no telephone number. If you do not wish to state a telephone number, then that is no problem for GoudaCheeseShop.com. Please note, however, that additional shipping costs will have to be charged for reshipping the order in case the delivery is returned due to inability to locate the address. We trust you will understand we will do everything we can to provide proper guidance to delivery.

Explanation of Shipping Costs
Shipping costs at GoudaCheeseShop.com are composed of Postnl and DPD shipping costs, Postnl and DPD additional services, and packaging costs. All shipments come with transport insurance as a matter of course. In case of loss, compensation varies between countries, but will never exceed 146 Euros.

Tracking and Tracing 
All shipments have a Track & Trace code available, which can be accessed only by you and by GoudaCheeseShop.com through a secure Internet connection. After shipping, we will send you an E-mail containing this Track & Trace code. 

Parcels
Maximum weight for a single parcel is 31 kilos; shipments consisting of several articles weighing over 31 kilos will be divided across multiple parcels. You will not be charged any additional amount for this, of course. Separate articles weighing over 31 kilos can only be shipped as a pallet shipment. Please contact us for costs related to pallet shipments. 

Customs
Import directives vary between countries. There is a chance that on arrival in the destination country, your parcel may be subject to VAT or import duty. These costs will be on your account. Unfortunately, we cannot influence this. Please contact your local customs authorities for information.

Returns and/or Complaints
For security reasons, unfortunately, food products cannot be returned. Should you receive your products in damaged condition, or products that do not meet the quality standards which are to be expected of the relevant products, then we request you notify us of these matters within 3 days of receipt. To this end, you should use our info@GoudaCheeseShop.com E-mail address. Depending on the nature of the problem, we will try to arrive at a solution by mutual consult.
