Maaslander Jong Belegen 50+ is the type of cheese that everybody loves. It has the characteristics of a young, creamy and full fat cheese, but tastes slightly stronger and saltier. If you’re looking for a cheese that melts easily, but still has the subtle taste experience of an aged cheese, then this is the perfect option for you. Whether you eat in on a pizza or on a piece of bread, you’ll love the taste of it.
Ingredients Maaslander:
Fat 50+, pasteurized cow's milk, salt, starter culture, microbial rennet, preservative (E251), colorant (carotenes)
All of our Maaslander Jong Belegen 55+ cheeses are sold per piece, not in slices. We deliver them to you cooled and in an airtight packaging, so they arrive just as fresh as when we shipped them. After vacuum packing them, the shelf life is around 8 weeks, which turns into 4 weeks after opening it, provided you keep it refrigerated at the right temperature.
