Description Vlielander Seaweed Cheese (organic) | Entire cheese 4,5 kilo – 9.9 lbs

Vlielander Seaweed Cheese is a special organic cheese in which the natural flavours of land and sea come together. Made from pasteurised organic cow's milk and enriched with sea lettuce (ulva), a type of seaweed that is harvested by hand every summer around Vlieland. This gives the cheese a subtle salty flavour that goes perfectly with the creamy, young matured structure.

After production, the cheese matures for at least six weeks in a cheese bunker, where the stable climate ensures optimum flavour development. The cheese contains no preservatives or colourings and is produced entirely organically. The cattle graze outdoors as much as possible and are fed organically grown feed.

Thanks to its firm structure, this cheese is ideally suited for sending by post. Orders are freshly cut and vacuum packed, so that the quality and freshness are preserved.
