The Karizo Goat is an artisanal cheese that consists of creamy goat cheese with added Spanish chorizo spices. For these spices, specially grown red peppers are used, that have been dried and smoked using traditional techniques. This 50+ goat cheese is naturally ripened for 4 to 10 weeks, which makes it a fairly mild and creamy cheese. It’s made of thermized goat’s milk from the farm, and doesn’t contain any preservatives. This gives it its pure and natural character, but by adding the chorizo spices it still has a rich taste and character.
The mild, yet slightly spicy taste and lovely texture of the Karizo Goat makes it a popular cheese on a tapas platter. This goat cheese has a very light color, and the added spices make it look (and taste!) nice and exotic!
