The cheesemakers at Groendal have created a true masterpiece. The cheese is washed with Kasteel Cuvée, a dark Belgian specialty beer. As a result, the cheese develops a beautiful dark crust, and the roasted malt flavor of the beer slowly infuses into the creamy cheese (50+). The result is a harmonious combination of a smooth cheese flavor with the slightly sweet, deep notes of the beer.
