Origin
Skylger Extra Matured is one of the Skylger variants. Skylger is made in Terschelling according to traditional methods by cheese maker Jan-Willem Zeilstra. Fresh Terschelling milk is used for the production of Skylger cheese. The special cheese is then manufactured based on a unique recipe from Jan-Willem Zeilstra. Skylger is a cheese with an authentic story. For instance, the milk is supplied by local dairy farmers on the island.
