Stompetoren Young is very creamy and has a soft taste. Thanks to the ripening process in the special climate in the Stompetoren ripening warehouse, the cheese gets a unique taste. The cheese remains nicely creamy and gets a thin crust through the ripening process. The cheese is made from pasture milk. The cows graze in the pastures and eat fresh grass. Thanks to eating fresh grass, the milk becomes richer and tastier. You can definitely taste this.

Fat 48+, pasteurized cow’s milk, Vegaterian rennet (microbial), protein, salt, natural preservative, natural colorant

Origin

Stompetoren Young, just like the other Stompetoren cheeses, is made in the CONO cheese factory in North Holland. This is the best and greenest cheese factory in the Netherlands. The curd is stirred by hand by the cheese makers. Moreover, modern and sustainable technologies are used to produce as energy-efficiently as possible. The cheese owes its name to the village of Stompetoren in North Holland, where the cows graze and the cheese is produced. The cheese can ripen in peace in the special Stompetoren ripening warehouse. All this in a special climate with a relatively high temperature and high humidity.

Combination

This young, soft North Holland cheese can be perfectly combined in several ways. For example, it is a delicious creamy cheese for sandwiches, but you will undoubtedly enjoy it in itself too.
