The origin of the A2A2 young matured cheese can be found at Biokaas Kinderdijk. This is a completely organic farm and cheese factory on the Molenkade in Alblasserdam, South Holland. The Family van den Haspel started a cattle farm at the current location decades ago. In addition, the family also made artisan cheese here. In the early 1980s Andre van Houwelingen became an employee of the family. He too was fascinated by the transformation of milk into cheese. Nowadays, he still makes the most delicious cheeses, including the A2A2 young matured, with great passion.
