Grass Cheese is a delicious creamy cheese. The cheese is made from the delicious fresh grass creamy milk. The cows eat the fresh green grass and this gives the cheese a richer and creamier taste.
Grass Cheese is available from about late May to mid november. During this period, the cows eat fresh grass.

The grass cheese must be at least 4 weeks old. Less than 4 weeks the grass cheese is not officially sold. The best grass cheese is actually available in the period around the end of June, late September and early October. In these two periods you have a good grass growth for the extra creamy cheese taste. Hence the names september cheese , grass cheese and may cheese.
