Description Provolone Caciocavallo | 250 grams / 0.55 lbs

Provolone Caciocavallo is an Italian cheese made from cow's milk. This is also called a scalded cheese, because by kneading the curd there are layers in the structure of the cheese, whereby the scalding refers to hot water that is added at the start of kneading process. The cheese is then formed into a recognizable cone or mandarin shape of approximately 40 centimetres. Two versions of Provolone are known.

The Provolone Dolce is eaten young and is very mild in flavour. It is a popular and very accessible cheese. This makes the cheese a real Italian classic.
