Gouda cheese is one of the most popular cheeses in the world. Unfortunately, the name Gouda cheese is not protected, so the term is not restricted to cheese from Dutch origin alone. However, when a cheese is labelled 'Gouda Holland', this is the original Dutch Gouda cheese. Of course, this is also the cheese we sell in our shop. We have Gouda cheese on offer of different maturation, ranging from young cheese (matured 4 weeks) to very old cheese (aged 3 or 4 years).

Venkelsoep met Jong Belegen Kaas

Bereidingstijd: 30-60 minuten

Ingrediënten voor 4 personen:
* 2 grote venkelknollen met mooi groen 
* 1 liter kruidenbouillon
* 1 sjalotje
* 1/2 eetlepel karwijzaad
* 150 g geraspte jong belegen kaas

Bereidingswijze
De venkel schoonmaken, het groen ter garnering achterhouden en de knollen in dunne repen snijden. Het sjalotje snipperen en in de olie goudgeel fruiten, het karwijzaad erbij roeren en nog even meebakken. De bouillon erbij schenken, de venkel toevoegen en in 5 minuten beetgaar koken. Het venkelgroen kleiner snijden en met de kaas bij de soep roeren. Direct serveren.
