Only after a very long maturing process you can call a cheese a farmer’s crumbly cheese: it has been maturing for over two to three years. The farmer’s crumbly cheese tastes very salty and rich: a real treat. This cheese is a farmer’s cheese as well, which means that it is produced on a Dutch farm under very particular circumstances. The milk that has been used to produce it is fresh: it has not been pasteurized like is the case with factory-made cheeses.

Fat 48+, unpasteurized cow's milk, rennet, salt, starter culture

Quality:
Your cheese is freshly cut and vacuum-packaged!
The hard structure of Dutch cheese makes it perfectly suitable for sending by post.

I eat far too much of this superb crumbly and crunchy cheese. It makes lock down easier to cope with.
I live in the UK and have asked you to print my address label exactly as I write it as our poor delivery drivers do not understand your address system. Please do this and I will order much more food from you.

This is, so far, the best cheese I've come across. I normally get it from my local cheese shop but he was out of it this week, so I thought why not get it straight from the Dutch? Wasn't sure exactly how big a kilo would be but it's seriously more than enough, in fact it's about double what I normally buy from the shop and I'm sure given the cost and shipping a little bit less than what double would cost from the shop. The cheese is firm and a bit brittle, like hard fudge, and tastes of digestive biscuits, lots of butter, toffee and chocolate and the finish goes on for a while. It's refined and delicious and I'll definitely reorder from the site again. About 2-3 days between ordering and signed delivery, and I live in London.

super kaas, echt iets wat je kan missen als je in het buitenland woont. We kijken altijd naar de levering uit. Alleen deze keer was de vacuumverpakking niet goed uitgevoerd, dat was jammer ... snel opeten dan maar :-)
